Lemon Dosi

12/02/2025

Summer is in full swing, and with it comes an intensified craving for bright, lemon-forward flavor experiences. When I saw that Superflux offered Lemon Dosi, a descendant of one of my personal favorites, Lemon G, I knew I had to review it.

Lemon Dosi is a hybrid cross of Lemon G and Dosidos #18, originally bred by Archive Seed Bank. This batch of flower tested at 28% THCa, 1.02% THC, and 29.77% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 2.25% of the total weight. Vibrant from the jar, an already bright turf green flower surface was further brightened by a dotting of large, solidly milky trichomes. Thin and wiry reddish-orange hairs stretched across the bud surface. Light in structure, the flowers broke up easily under a bit of finger pressure while leaving a slight greasiness behind.

A sharp top-note blend of lemon juice, citronella, and sea brine led the aroma, supported by notes of fresh rain, wet forest floor, freshly turned dirt, and a notably spicy hit of black pepper at the finish. Once burned, the tangy lemon flavors lost the sharp edge from the aroma. Instead, they blended into the earth and spice supporting tones, creating fresh notes of herbal tea and chopped lemongrass that lingered on the palate.

The experience opened physically as a headband pressure accompanied by a wave of euphoria and began to unfold within minutes of my first hit. Initially, a spacious and serene headspace cleared my anxieties and allowed me to focus on the task at hand. After the peak, a quiet introspective mood took over while the physical tingles cooled into a full-body lightness that bordered on floating. Easy going and peaceful, Lemon Dosi struck me as more hybrid than sativa but worked well for any time of day.
